At the expense of seeming like a lame story teller im just gonna get right to it . . .
Encounter 1: I take the bus to & from work b/c its super cheap, gas is high, and its only like an 8 minute ride. I was waiting at the bus stop to go home in BROAD daylight at like 4pm. There r hella ppl around. So im just texting, minding my business, and this homeless man comes and stands like 3 feet away from me-hella hawkin. i look up like what theee fuck yo?!? but he is still hella starin . . . this old lady next to me whispers, "that homeless man is staring at u" and im all (in my head) no shit sherlock. so i politely reach my hand into my tote and get out my shank. (side note: my big sis bought me a mini pocketknife cuz its a crazy world we live in . . . plus imma thug & and she doesnt want me to catch a gun case.) ne ways so i take out my shank but i jus keep it concealed in my hand. Then the homeless man is all "naw naw couldnt b her . . ." he backs up a lil and is like "yea, naw couldnt b" and he turns and walks into the street and almost gets hit by a truck. everyone at the stop is like "oh shit!" and he jus keeps goin across the street. weird no?
Encounter 2(hella crazier): So me & my sis went to Jose Bernsteins for some grub. i ordered chicken nachos but they made it with chili so they made me a new order but let me keep both. my sis suggested i give the chili ones to the homeless man we saw by the parking garage and im all yea good idea. so we were walking back and we saw a different homeless man. I TRIED to give him the nachos but he refused them:
me-"hi would u like these chicken nachos?" homeless man-"ummm" me-"they rnt left overs- they r brand new" homeless man- "umm no thanks.maybe he wants them" then he points to another homeless man.
plz keep in mind that this man is the prototype homeless man. he was quite large, HELLA dirty, posted on a bench, hella layers of clothes, fully equipped with shopping cart and lots of bags . . . the kind that you arent sure are completely concious . . . and this foo had the nerve to turn down my FRESH nachos. & it doesnt end there . . . i walked over to the other homeless man:
me-"would u like these nachos" homeless man-"ummm" (he looks at my other bag) "whats in that bag?" me- "my nachos" homeless man- "you dont have ne thing else?" me -"no" homeless man-"oh, can u get something else?" me-"uh no."
then i walked away in disbelief.

-PARTIES! - Tuesday i went out with my secret crush Dae & my party mama Lindsay. - We all met up @ Les Deux in Hollywood then went over to the Houdini Mansion for Chrsitina's mansion house party. - The place was dope but kinda creepy outside towards the back. - Me & Dae explored the place. -There was this really creepy underground cave like thing with a big clearing & like a lil temple in the middlle. it was creepy as fucc! - Then up these stairs there was like wilderness & a lil path. I was not messin with that so Dae & some other guy (i think Greg?) walked back there. Me and Greg's friend (Loli?) left & walked back to the party. - CABO CANTINA NEXT WEEK! - ideally i'd go friday or saturday BUT i think Diaris is having her house warming party one of those days. - BUT maybe we can do CABO early then go to her party later. - OR maybe we can do it on a weekday. wednesday perhaps? - IDK ill figure it out and let everyone who is anyone know.
I'm so happy. I LOVE my life & my friends. Things couldn't be anymore perfect. I never thought I'd b feeling like this in May. Things started out so bad. But now they have completely turned around.
Reasons y im sO HAPPY: Friday I turned in my 1st 20 page paper. Saturday all my girls were reunited for a night of mayhem & debauchery. Sunday night we did it all over again. Today I turned in another 20 pager. The boy. I have a dope chill job @ Urban Outfitters with a nice 40% discount. I'm getting a puppy! Neyo's song "closer" Girlicious' song "Like me" My birthday is coming up! June 8th. Im gonna c Courtney soon! Im moving into my new dope ass 4bd townhouse soon. Undie Run is coming up soon! 6:24am -I got home from partying. 10:56am -Big sis woke me up. GOOD NEWS. Shanel found my retainers! yee! LOL 1pm -Went to the nail shop & got a fill. 2pm -Went to the library NOW -still n the library. On my grind. Writing the best paper i've ever written. topic: libertarian vs progressive views on welfare reform. 12 pages down-8 to go.

3. Despite what my previous efforts have proven, there ARE chocolate muffins that taste like cupcakes!!! Until like 5 months ago i assumed chocolate muffins tasted like chocolate cupcakes but i never had the opportunity to try them. This is mostly because whenever there was a chocolate muffin around there was always a banana nut or blueberry muffin and who wants a cupcake with NO frosting when u can have a delicious banana nut or blueberry muffin?!? ne ways, 5 months ago i FINALLY tried one and they tasted NOTHING like a cupcake! HOWEVER this weekend i went to my parentals house and they had chocolate muffins which i knew i'd steer clear of but my lil sis had some and said they tasted like cupcakes! At first i was apprehensive cuz she is a known trickster but after she left the room I gave in and indulged and to my delight they DID indeed taste like cupcakes!!! a bit dry w/o the frosting tho . . . LOL

Dear TIYANI, I honestly cant believe your gone. I JUST talked to you-I woulda said a lot more if I would have known it was going to be my last time. I would have reminded you of that time back n high school when i was so scared to wear your jacket because you had "stuff" in the pockets but I was so cold so I wore it anyway. You never let me forget how paranoid I was that day! LOL. AND that time you gave me a pre-game talk b4 we played Pinole was so funny! What upsets me so much is that most ppl will never know how funny, respectful and kind you really were. I wasnt going to post anything about the past but in light of everything that has happened I find myself thinking about your death and how senseless it all seems. May 7th was harder than I thought it would be but I tried to be strong. I was really broken up about about a couple of things earlier in the week and Courtney was there for me. I didnt understand how she could be so strong knowing that the anniversary of your death was right around the corner. Then I realized you helped to make her such a strong woman. Im so glad i had all those chats w/ you and finally approved of you and gave her the ok to date you. LOL. I love this picture of you because it reminds me of the time Courtney told me you came by her dorm but she wasnt there so you left a toothpick propped up on the door to let her know you came by. That was SoOo funny to me but she loved it! LOL You were SUCH a wonderful and funny person. I miss you!

Due to four classes as well as a plethora of other commitments I find myself dealing with a bit more than a healthy level of stress sometimes. PLUS, anyone who knows me well knows that May was ALL bad for me last year and now that 365 days have past since that awful month began I find myself in a bit of a slump. I'm sure few have taken note despite my efforts to mask my emotions & perpetuate my image as a hardcore THUG. So that brings me back to: so . . . blogspot huh?
Between studying for midterms, writing TWO 15-20 page papers, working, sleeping, partying, doing stuff for on-campus clubs, maintaining a social life & all that jazz there r those few hours that r spent doing nothing & wasting HELLA time. So me friend said I should blog cuz its good for time management and I wont sit around thinkin about all the crappy shit that May represents in my life. I dunno . . . but i guess we'll c.
