This video makes me hella sad for Chris & Rihanna. I think they still love each other but because of her celebrity and influence over other girls and women Rihanna chose to say "eff love" and set a positive example for current and future victims of abuse. Call me crazy but I like Chris again.


OoOoOoo pretty colors!!! LOL. this song always makes me wanna sidestep with my left arm bent to my side (fist near chin) and the other arm out in pull up position and my head down to the right.



Omarion can definitely get 'jiggy' and the song is currently being transferred to my ipod but I have a few questions . . . 1. y wasnt lil wayne n the video. wasnt that his track or am i mistaken? 2. y does omarion have on those white under armor shorts? 3. Who is omarion's barber? In the words of Beyonce "Somebody gettin fired".

While he is a dope talent discoverer/manager/producer/whatever, Diddy is probably one of the most untalented artists ever. Think about it . . . when was the last time you were like "Dang!!! Diddy went in on that verse!" or the last time you said "Ok Diddy! You giggin in that video!" Ummm . . . NOT NEVER!

He put DMV on on the map and now WALE is putting his highly anticipated album, ATTENTION DEFICIT, in stores/itunes TODAY! If his past 5 mixtapes haven't convinced you this guy is HOT then perhaps his singles "Chillin" featuring Lady Gaga and "Pretty Girls" introduced you to the fiyah. Another artist you should definitely have in your ipod is Inglewood's own SHAWN CHRYS. Paying homage to his city of residence, his album "A city with no Seasons" dropped a little while back but is still in heavy rotation in my ipod. Shawn Chrys recently went on tour with Big Sean of Good Music records and a guy named Mike Posner both of whom you should also definitely check out! Brought to my attention by the annual UCLA JAZZ REGGAE FESTIVAL, Myspace records artist MATEO has stolen my heart. His recently released album "Get to Know Me" has amazing ballads as well as well written lyrics. It is one of those albums you listen to from beginning to end.




Jarell Perry recently announced via Twitter.com that he will be releasing his mixtape "On my Own". *I have to take a moment & give myself and Salima props for being on that Lady Gaga hype like almost a year ago, long b4 the radio started playing a million different remix versions of "Just Dance". AND to me and lin lin for slappin Santogold b4 mtv started playing her music during their shows.* I've come to realize that songs get popular LONG after they have been released (ie: Gym Class Heroes first few popular singles) LISTEN TO MORE THAN JUST THE RADIO YALL! Your missing out on HELLSA good music when u just listen to the top 40. listen to ppl's albums for the other tracks-often times they're better than the singles. Be more open and receptive to other sources of hearing new music and most importantly DONT GET STUCK IN 1 GENRE!
